Honest Abe

Happy President's Day a little bit late.  Makes me proud to be a Kentuckian when I look at Abe.  Tis I did for the dailypainters challenge.

    The description I included was inspired by my own husband's unique untamed mane and his unabashed honesty. And as I painted this, I thought of many of the people in my life whose faces show great character - husband, brother, grandmother, father.
