Before this peony drops its petals, I painted it again and learned I should have chosen the crimson one (from yesterday's session) as it would have been easier than shades of white. Live and learn. Fun anyway.
Liz, love that you captured that "barely there" feeling - I do love that about the peonies - beauty fades but I almost prefer it - knowing it had lived fully. I guess I am trying to convince myself of this sort of beauty. Fading, falling.....Oy! pve
