The Heaven Trees

In Kentucky in the spring the black locust trees bloom with clusters of pea-like blossoms. The scent is luscious and a dear old lady told me once when I asked after that fragrance that it was of the heaven trees.

The painting is ready and I just received a high res and lo res image of it from the photographer. He shot about 36 paintings that our plein air group completed for its annual show. We will have a postcard invitation like last year and needed the digital images to e-mail to the printer.
